Technically an outside cabin but without a view of the ocean, my Central Park view stateroom on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas is way more than I expected. The nicely-appointed 199 square foot space is luxurious, like all cabins on the ship, with bedding fit for a king and well-organized space that allows storage of clothing and personal items without clutter. Shelving, drawers and closets are designed to hold all one might bring for a week-long cruise out of sight making the space one passengers will want to linger in as a big part of the cruise experience.
A big feature of the Central Park-view staterooms is the proximity to everything on the ship. Overlooking the Central Park neighborhood on Allure of the Seas, the location is handy and moments away from much of the action happening at any given time. A bay window with cushioned seating is a pleasant place to spend some time reading a book or just people-watching the crowd below.
