We’re on board Carnival Liberty all this week reporting on the implementation of Carnival Cruise Line’s new Funship 2.0 initiative, a $500 million project that promised to transform the line’s onboard experience when it was announced in October.
Available at sea on Carnival Cruise Lines, guests can save 25% on wine packages when they purchase wines offered through Carnival’s Cruise the Vinyards onboard wine program.
Wines from around the world are featured in three packages that satisfy both the wine novice and the more adventurous wine consumer. Five bottles of wine come in each package. Prices start at $110 for the basic Wine Package featuring a selection that includes bottles like Korbel Brut, Folonari Pino Grigio or Mondavi Chardonnay among others with 11 labels to choose from.
Up a level to the Deluxe Wine Package for $130 gets Kenwood White Zin, Murphy Goode Merlot or Kendall Jackson Chardonnay among the 11 listed labels here.
Top of the line, Premium Wine Package gets Domaine Chandon Brut, Beringer Chardonnay or Kendal Jackson Vintner’s Reserve Merlot.
Simply comparing the pricing to Carnival’s own Bon Voyage gift wine cellar list verifies the savings and it looks like the Deluxe Wine Package offers the best overall value.
