This Valentine’s Day, Norwegian Cruise Line is celebrating throwing their hat in the romance at sea ring by surprising Erin Picard and Todd O’Neil of Peabody, Mass., who fell in love on board a Norwegian ship with a dream honeymoon following their wedding this summer.
In 2010, Erin Picard had just endured a painful breakup, was caring for a sick grandparent and working three jobs as a registered nurse. To break free from it all, she and her best friend decided to take a cruise vacation on board Norwegian Spirit from Boston to Bermuda on September 10, 2010. Seven days after boarding Norwegian Spirit, Erin excitedly called her mother, Lee Bryant of New Hampshire, and exclaimed, “I met the man of her dreams on this cruise!”
Two years later, Picard is marrying the man of her dreams. To celebrate their incredible love story, Norwegian is sending Erin and Todd on a dream honeymoon to Europe on board Norwegian Spirit, the ship on which they met.
They will visit five different countries, including Spain, Italy, France, Greece and Turkey on Norwegian Spirit’s unrivaled 12-Day Grand Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona to Venice, following their July 6, 2012 nuptials.
