To mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum opened a new exhibit this week.
The exhibit, The Unsinkable Molly Brown: Denver’s Heroine of the Titanic, tells the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown who was on board the famous liner when it struck an iceberg during its maiden voyage on April 14, 1912. Brown survived, but the ship sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
“The new exhibit will explore Brown’s experience in the tragedy with first-hand accounts from survivors and other insights into the Titanic’s lasting role in maritime history,” says the Denver Post.
The exhibit runs until Dec. 31.
