American Safari Cruises is running seven-night warm weather adventure un-cruises in Hawaii and Mexico’s Sea of Cortés right now. As a special incentive, American Safari is offering guests a $200 travel credit for new reservations made on select Hawaiian Islands cruises between February and May 2012 and a complimentary hotel night in Mexico, its other warm weather destination.
“This is an extra incentive for travelers to try out our new Hawaiian Islands yacht adventure,” said Tim Jacox, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We’ve expanded our warm weather cruising options this year, and travelers will find great value in our inclusive yacht cruises in both destinations.”
The 36-guest Safari Explorer sails seven-night adventure un-cruises between Hawaii, the Big Island and Lana’i/Maui with two days of activities on Moloka’i. Flexible yacht itineraries focus on the leeward side of the eastern-most Hawaiian Islands.
The 22-guest, upscale yacht Safari Quest sails weeklong Aquarium of the World adventure cruises from La Paz, Mexico. The inclusive cruise includes all from-the-yacht activities and equipment; transfers; exquisite meals; fine wine, premium spirits and microbrews; and all port charges, taxes and fees.
In the Hawaiian Islands and the Sea of Cortés, guests can be as active as they like and activities include hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and skiff excursions. Expert naturalists provide interpretation on guided excursions ashore and at sea. The unstructured itinerary allows time for viewing wildlife such as whales and dolphins.
An all-American crew has a guest-crew ratio of 2 to 1. Yachts can be booked as a private charter or by individual stateroom. To book a yachting adventure or to request additional information, contact your travel agent or American Safari Cruises at 888-862-8881 or email sales@innerseadiscoveries.com.
Cruise fares start at $4,995 in Hawaii and $3,995 in the Sea of Cortés based on double occupancy. The offer of a $200 travel credit per person is good for adventure cruises on February 13, 21, 29; March 8; April 1, 9, 25; and May 3, 2012. Guests making new reservations for cruises departing February 11, 18 or April 7, 2012 receive one complimentary hotel night at Casa Natalia, a boutique hotel in San José del Cabo, Mexico. The offer is good only for guests flying into Cabo. The Safari Quest package includes transfers between airport, hotel and the yacht in La Paz, plus one complimentary night either pre- or post-cruise at the award-winning European-style Casa Natalia. Breakfast is included at the hotel. Transfer between Cabo and La Paz is via private shuttle. The package is valued at up to $900 per couple.
