The first ever Blake Shelton and Friends cruise will set sail on from Miami this October and feature the biggest and brightest ensemble of musicians ever to appear before such a small and select group of country music fans. The seven-night sailing of Norwegian Pearl, one of our favorite Norwegian ships, offers fans of red-hot country superstar Shelton the exclusive opportunity to spend a week at sea with their favorite artist. It also offers our Sydney Owen (@SydneyOwen) a good honeymoon option after some other unusual breaks from the traditional idea of a wedding. More on that later.
But that’s not all.
Along for the ride will be Trace Adkins, Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Lee Brice, Neal McCoy, Randy Houser and many more.
Hosted by Flying Dutchmen Travel and Fan Fair Country Cruises, the country music festival at sea will feature non-stop entertainment by a host of popular country artists also including Frankie Ballard; Brett Eldredge; Jana Kramer; Tyler Farr; Chuck Wicks; Logan Mize; Brinley Addington; Chris Cavanaugh; JJ Lawhorn; Brandon & Leah; McKenna Faith, an up-in-coming 17-year old talent; Johanna Smith; Her & King’s County; Clayton Anderson; Nik and Sam; the exciting Maggie Rose; and from Shelton’s hit television series, The Voice, Rae Lynn and her band.
During the Eastern Caribbean sailing, Shelton will perform two live concerts in Norwegian Pearl’s intimate Stardust Theater. The country music festival continues every night with live music every night in at least three different venues around the ship.
The Blake Shelton and Friends Cruise will set sail to San Juan, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau, Bahamas with two days at sea to enjoy Norwegian Pearl’s impressive onboard features.
Cruise fans know Norwegian Pearl was the first ship at sea with full-size bowling alleys and, in our opinion, one of the best efforts by the Freestyle Cruising line. With no set time for dinner, no dress-up nights and 13 bars and lounges, Norwegian Pearl is a good fit for down home country fans, looking for up close and personal time with many of their favorite country stars.
Staterooms are priced starting at $1,099, based on double occupancy. That’s a higher price than a regular sailing on this ship but this is far from a regular cruise.
