Fans of Royal Caribbean‘s Cupcake Cupboard had reason to rejoice not long ago, even if not on one of their ships that feature the popular venue. Releasing its newest cookbook Cupcakes & Scoops last April, Royal Caribbean gave away (for $34.95) cupcake recipes and ice cream flavors available on its ships that have The Cupcake Cupboard shop and Ice Cream Parlor. This week, Royal Caribbean released a new video all about their Cupcake Cupboard.
The Cupcake Cupboard on Royal Caribbean‘s Oasis and Allure of the Seas features some of the best cupcakes on the planet. I know that. If you are a cupcake freak and have tried one, you know that too. They charge $2.50 each for them or there are smaller half-sized mini cupcakes for half the price.
Some people complain and moan about paying “extra” for things like this.
Well just the other day, a “gourmet” cupcake store opened not far from where we live. Initially I thought I had died and gone to heaven. A cupcake store right down the street? Really? How could I possibly not stop there frequently?
The place has good cupcakes. Not great cupcakes. Good cupcakes. About half the size of the cupcakes at sea for $3.00 each.
Cupcakes are better at sea. Twice the size, way better and cost less. Just sayin’
