The Internet offers a whole lot of travel information on everything from general advice to destinations.  Knowing where to go for the best, most current information can be a real help when planing a cruise vacation or any type of travel.  Here are my favorite sources, experts in their field that we can “talk” to via email, Facebook or Twitter.  Browse these Supreme Sources, many taken from a Gadling post I did, 10 great cruise blogs, and take some time to get to know them.  They will probably come in handy some day…like today for example.  My Google Custom Search (on the right) is set up to search only these sites so you can count on the results.

USA Today’s The Cruise Log- Gene Sloan- “I oversee USA TODAY’s Cruise Log (cruises.usatoday.com), an online site where cruise fans can blow hours at a time talking about cruising. CruiseRadio.net – Doug Parker of CruiseRadio.net (@CruiseRadio) along with sidekick Matt Basford  run a popular online radio station that brings in-depth interviews and information from around the world of cruises to your desktop each week.  Ongoing weekly features highlighting the value of a cruise vacation as well as in-depth interviews with travel and cruise professionals, have ensured Cruise Radio a solid position of authority in the cruise industry. If you have not had a listen or haven’t had a listen lately, do it and see the Cruise Radio Facebook page too.

Porthole Cruise Magazine- In either the (snazzy) print edition or online, Porthole Cruise magazine features expertly written, sophisticated cruise and travel editorial for savvy consumers worldwide.  Seasoned travel writers feature their stories, opinions, tips, and insights into the places they go and adventures they experience (@PortholeCruise)
